a decent stay
helpful staff prompt requests good breakfast easy walk
the staff were very helpful with directions. they were prompt with requests i had. i enjoyed the breakfast menu a lot. i found it easy to walk into town, though the hill can be tiring.
the bathroom in my room was a little small for my liking, but it was clean.

mixed experience, some issues present
noisy room limited parking
the staff were cute and helpful throughout my stay.
my room was right next to reception , it was very noisy from early in the morning with people talking right outside as they checked out. the room was very basic with no view from the window and no decorative touches like the web photos. parking was needed , but i couldn't get a space close by , and i did not feel safe at night as a solo female traveller.

Acceptable But With Issues
steep drive limited space
The breakfast was acceptable, I had eggs.
The parking situation was a problem. The steep drive down to the car park made me nervous. A delivery lorry reversed into my car and there wasn't enough space to turn around. I am not happy.

pleasant stay
friendly staff wonderful breakfast city view thin wall door slamming false advertisement
the staff was friendly. breakfast includes many choices and tastes great. there is a garden with seating and a view of the city. i was very happy.
The room had thin walls. i could hear the neighbours. people did slam the doors. It was hard to close them silently. the hotel is not a luxury accommodation as advertised.
